Thanks to the collaboration between MAP-BC and the Greater Vancouver Food Bank (GVFB), refugee claimant clients without ID or proof of address can now be referred for registration using the attached referral form.

Please make sure to fill out all the required information and a brief description of the client’s situation. You need to book a registration appointment for your clients by calling 604.876.3601 (option 6) or by e-mail at [email protected].

Please note that the GVFB provides free and nutritious groceries to clients living in Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and on the North Shore. If your clients do not have a space to cook their meals, the GVFB is not able to provide prepared meals. For a list of community agencies that can provide cooked meals, please search the map by scrolling to the bottom of this link: https://foodbank.bc.ca/agencies/community-agencies/.
