Join Refugee 613 for their free online event, Digital Messaging Summit: Tools and Tactics for Newcomer Integration, on January 20th and 21st, 2021.
The Digital Messaging Summit is a dynamic interactive gathering to share practical strategies and advice about managing digital messaging services by and for immigrants and refugees and build a network of people working in this area.
You’ll hear from experts in:
– digital community design and engagement
– community management, guidelines and protocols
– fighting misinformation
– impact measurement, and more
In addition to two days of keynotes and workshops, there will be bonus content and discussions in a dedicated Slack space, as well as opportunities to network with fellow attendees and contribute to a policy document on best practices.
The Summit will bring together newcomers, service providers, communications experts, and community leaders to learn, share and network on the topic of newcomer information delivery and dissemination. Come share your own experiences, ask questions from others, and help build policy recommendations to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada!
