The BC Refugee Hub will be hosting a webinar to support organizations working with LGBTQIA+ newcomer refugee claimants. Queer newcomers often face layered barriers when navigating the refugee claim process, including discrimination, systemic gaps, and intersectional challenges tied to race, gender identity, immigration status, and socio-economic background. This session will provide frontline workers with the practical tools, information and resources to provide safe, inclusive, and affirming support.
