The Housing Toolkit is a guide for agencies supporting newcomer clients with finding and securing housing, bringing together useful resources from experienced agencies providing housing search services.  The toolkit outlines the housing search process, providing settlement workers with tools and educational resources for their own use, ones that can be shared with clients to empower them in the housing process, information that can be provided to landlords, and guides for communication between newcomers and potential landlords.

Developed by ISSofBC’s BC Refugee Hub in partnership with AMSSA’s BC Refugee Resource Network, this toolkit is for settlement service providers and agencies seeking to enhance their ability to work with clients in their housing search process.
