ISSofBC is offering a series of free workshops this November to help asylum seekers and refugee claimants in Vancouver and Burnaby navigate the rental process in British Columbia. Participants will learn how to find and rent a place, understand renters’ rights, and access BC Housing options.

Workshops will be held both in person and online (via Microsoft Teams) and will be available in multiple languages — including English, Spanish, Farsi, Dari, and Arabic. Childminding and bus tickets are also available to support participants.

Workshop Dates:

• Tuesday, Nov 4, 2025: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (English & Spanish)

• Wednesday, Nov 5, 2025: 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (English, Farsi & Dari)

• Thursday, Nov 6, 2025: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (English & Arabic)
