June 10, 2019 – BC Refugee Hub has officially launched #RefugeeSuccessStory—a campaign that aims to empower refugees to share their stories; celebrate the dynamic refugees who are making a difference to their families; and reposition common misperceptions.

We would like ask settlement organizations and stakeholders for your help in supporting this message through your social media channels.

Below you’ll find a series of social media graphics we would love for you to share, alongside your own #RefugeeSuccessStory. Alternatively, you can repost our own daily content @BCRefugeeHub.

You can also discover three remarkable stories on our YouTube channel.

We would also be thrilled to hear of any refugees outside of the Lower Mainland whose success stories you would like to share, to discuss how we could best support this.

With unprecedented levels of global displacement, more refugees are settling in British Columbia. It’s more important than ever to dispel misperceptions about newcomers. By profiling individuals creating success for their neighbourhoods and BC’s economy, we hope to demonstrate refugees’ contribution to the economy and our communities.
