From Humanitarian to Human – Changing the Way We Welcome Refugee Claimants is a community-based research project led by the guiding question: “What would a values-based, human-centered, and transformational welcome for and with people seeking refuge and protection in Canada look like?”
Nine actionable recommendations offer a clear path forward for refugee claimants and Canadians.
This Kinbrace-initiated qualitative research was guided by a diverse research steering committee, and funded by a Vancouver Foundation Systems Change grant and the Houssian Foundation. Research and report were completed by Alexandra Dawley Consulting..
