The target audience for this webinar included settlement workers and settlement organization staff, community support workers, libraries, educational institutions, government representatives, and all stakeholders working with and supporting refugee claimants.
Speaker: Mona Hassannia, MA, RCC, Mental Health Consultant – Nia Counselling
Mona Hassannia had over 15 years of front-line and management experience in the BC settlement and integration sector, working with various populations, including government-assisted refugees (GARs), refugee claimants, migrants, and immigrants. She was also a Registered Clinical Counsellor, bringing this experience into her work both as a mental health consultant and accomplished trainer, developing toolkits, training, and curriculum to strengthen the field.
