Temporary replacement of a lost/stolen Refugee Protection Claimant Document
People in Canada whose Refugee Protection Claimant Document (RPCD) have been lost or stolen may request a temporary document by sending an email to [email protected]. Specify in the subject line if the RPCD was lost or stolen.
IRCC will send a message advising the client to create an epost Connect account and will then connect with the claimant through epost Connect to advise what information and documents they must provide.
These are interim and temporary documents only, not replacements.
Individuals with an expired RPCD should not use this interim process. Their documents are considered valid.
