Red Fox Healthy Living Society and KUPAA Foundation invite youth in grades 6-12 to join our Village Pilot Project program from March 2021 –  March 2022.

The Village Pilot Project (VPP) is a mentorship, leadership, and academic training pilot project. Youth will participate in modules throughout the year, with each phase focusing on a different stage of leadership and personal development, and they will gain tremendous skills and support to achieve their academic and career goals.

Youth will:

  • Receive free tutoring and homework support
  • Gain leadership and financial literacy skills
  • Meet new people and have fun learning how to build their own business
  • Connect with mentors and professionals in their chosen interest

This free program is open to youth in Grade 6 – 12 

Phase 1: Genesis Phase

Activities: Emotional intelligence assessment, future mapping, mental health guest speaker

Zoom Sessions – Tutoring sessions

Phase 2: Ignite Phase

Activities: Goal setting, habit formation, the introduction of a personal project

Phase 3: Persist Phase

Activities: Leadership skills, networking skills, presentation skills, presenting on a personal project

Designed for youth who are:

  • African Canadian
  • Indigenous
  • Racialized youth
  • Youth with disabilities
  • LGBTQ2+
