Developed by the BC Refugee Hub, in partnership with AMSSA’s BC Refugee Resource Network (BC RRN), the following housing data tables show regional housing costs in relation to the income supports that resettled refugees and displaced Ukrainians receive upon arrival to Canada. The info sheets for each region aim to show the disparity between the supports that newcomer refugees and displaced Ukrainians are eligible for compared to the cost of living in each of the regions in British Columbia.

Released in March 2023 – below are all of the housing info sheets you can access:

  1. Housing Info Sheet – All of British Columbia
  2. Housing Info Sheet – Fraser Valley region
  3. Housing Info Sheet – Interior region
  4. Housing Info Sheet – Metro Vancouver region
  5. Housing Info Sheet – Northern region
  6. Housing Info Sheet – Vancouver Island region
