The BC Refugee Hub is hosting a webinar to support organizations working with refugee claimants and asylum seekers who may be found ineligible to be referred to the Refugee Protection Division and how this connects with policies like the Safe Third Country Agreement (STCA). This session will equip frontline staff with legal context, practical tools, and referral guidance to help them better understand these policies and support clients navigating these complex situations.

The regulations and processes regarding client eligibility (Section 101 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act)
Overview of the STCA at official and irregular border crossings
Common documentation issues
