The BC Refugee Hub, in partnership with VAST (Vancouver Association for Survivors of Torture) will be hosting an online training session designed for coordinators, managers, and directors to strengthen trauma-informed leadership and organizational wellness across the BC Safe Haven funded organizations. This session will explore practical tools, strategies, and organizational approaches to strengthen trauma-informed leadership and support staff well-being.

Organization-wide approaches to trauma-informed practiceLeadership strategies for addressing trauma and vicarious traumaPractical tools for self-care, stress management, and mental health copingAssessing and improving workplace well-beingSupporting teams through complex and evolving refugee claimant processes

Who is this Training for?

This training session is designed for coordinators, managers, directors, and organizational leaders working with refugee claimants across BC. All are welcome – those who attended in-person sessions (for a refresher) and those joining for the first time.
