Inasmuch is offering an informative online class designed to help refugee claimant newcomers understand the Canadian tax system. Filing Income Tax in Canada: What You Need to Know will take place on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Zoom.

This class will cover important topics such as deductions on paychecks, who needs to file taxes in Canada, and the documents required for filing. Participants will also learn when and how to file their taxes, as well as the consequences of failing to file.

Newcomers are invited to register for the class online at www.inasmuch.ca under the Refugee Claimants section, click on Events. After registering, participants will receive a Zoom link to join the session.
