The Vancouver Island Refugee Readiness Team (RRT-VI), led by the Inter-Cultural Association of Greater Victoria, worked from 2022 to 2024 to support Afghan and Ukrainian refugees. The initiative focused on four key areas: housing, healthcare, employment, and education, building welcoming and resilient communities across the island. Though the project has ended, its resources remain available for future reference. For current services, people are encouraged to connect with the Greater Victoria Local Immigration Partnership (GVLIP).
