VAST is are honored to welcome Dr. Joan Simalchik, Professor Emerita at the University of Toronto, and Dr. Yaya de Andrade, Psychologist and co-founder of Vancouver Association for Survivors of Torture, as Keynote speakers. The event will feature presenters and panelists, including community advocates, academic experts in mental health and human rights, and members of the Voices Against Torture Journal Editorial Board. Discussions will cover a wide range of topics, from refugee support to anti-racism strategies, offering valuable insights and perspectives.
