Speakers:
Siffan managed the Ottawa Newcomer Health Centre which provides health and mental health services to refugees and immigrants to ensure timely, coordinated and culturally appropriate care. She is passionate about diversity and works towards achieving an equitable system. She sits on the Ottawa Local Immigration Partnership’s Health and Wellbeing sector table and is a member of Canadian Association of Community Health Centre’s Newcomer Health working group. She is now moving onto a different role as the Director of Diabetes Programs with Centretown Community Health Centre.
