AMSSA would like to invite you to register for the B.C Refugee Resource Network’s Seeking Refuge bulletin. The bulletin provides reliable and timely information, news, updates and other useful resources related to humanitarian crises response. It is targeted to service providers in health, education, community resources and other sectors who are supporting resettled refugees and displaced Ukrainians. AMSSA knows that community and social service organizations outside the immigrant settlement sector provide critical services to support the many needs of resettled refugees and displaced Ukrainians. With circumstances ever changing, the Seeking Refuge bulletin provides up-to-date news, resources and information that aid you in your service provision.

Topics covered in past and future Seeking Refuge bulletins include:

  • Recently announced financial and service supports for CUAET arrivals (Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel) from Ukraine
  • Sponsorship and family reunification programs for Afghan refugees
  • Upcoming information webinars open to anyone supporting resettled refugees and displaced Ukrainians
  • Resources for service providers to aid in their work with resettled refugees and displaced Ukrainians
  • Online tools accessible to newcomers that aid in their settlement process
  • …and much more.

Seeking Refuge is an initiative of AMSSA’s B.C. Refugee Resource Network (BCRRN) to strengthen community capacity to support resettled refugees and displaced Ukrainians through education, information dissemination, research, and training.
